Digitalisation know-how and expertise in the bicycle industry
After completing his master’s degree in engineering, Christian Wenzl gained his first professional experience in the automotive industry before entering the bicycle industry when he founded a start-up for bicycle repairs. He was already able to familiarise himself with digitalisation-related topics during his previous position in stationary retail.
Flagship project for digitalisation of the bicycle industry
As «Project Coordinator», Christian Wenzl will be instrumental in launch of the future data service. «I am very much looking forward to helping the bicycle industry to achieve better data and accelerated digitalisation,» says Wenzl. The project is modeled on the Market Data Service (MDS) provided by the Bicycle Association (BA) of Great Britain. The ZIV will publish further details very soon.
