ZIV to expand future strategy further with new member of staff: Louise Böhler joins ZR Zweirad-Gesellschaft as Chief Business Development Officer
Berlin, 3 November 2025 | The ZIV is expanding its range of services: from 1 November 2025, Louise Böhler will assume the new role of Chief Business Development Officer at ZR Zweirad-Gesellschaft mbH, the ZIV’s commercial subsidiary. «Louise Böhler is a real entrepreneurial spirit within our association’s limited liability company! With her many years of successful work in the services sector, she is the ideal person to drive the ambitions of our future industry,» says ZIV CEO Burkhard Stork of her appointment.
Louise Böhler is joining the ZIV from the German National Cyclists’ Association (ADFC) where she was head of the tourism and services department and provided significant impetus for the cycling industry. She has a bachelor’s degree in tourism management and with her extensive experience and professional network, she will be responsible for business development at ZR in the future – with a clear focus on growth opportunities for the bicycle ecosystem.
«We see countless opportunities to rapidly advance our work for the industry, among others with offers from our limited liability company – a forward-looking industry congress together with VSF and Zukunft Fahrrad, for example. In light of last week’s developments, the focus has of course clearly shifted to the matter of an industry platform or trade fair. I’m very pleased that we can now get off to a flying start with Louise,» Stork continues.
