Specialist events
The association presents the latest topics to all sub-target groups in the bicycle ecosystem and the cycling-interested public. The specialist events are also important platforms for a regular professional dialogue and networking with our stakeholders.
The technology conference is the ZIV’s central programme for information and discussion on hot technology trends and topics from the entire bicycle ecosystem.
In future, we wish to develop this new, unique format into the leading technology platform for our industry that takes place every autumn in Berlin.
While participation is currently still reserved for ZIV member companies and invited experts, the event will gradually be opened to a wider audience of experts in the future.

The vivavelo congress is the largest and most important event for an exchange between the bicycle industry and policymakers, the scientific community and administration in political Berlin. The main congress topics are strengthening Germany as a cycling location and better tapping into its potential for value creation, jobs and transformation of the transport sector.
The format is organised jointly by the three industry associations, namely the Verbund Service und Fahrrad (VSF), ZIV and Zukunft Fahrrad and takes place every two years.

The ZIV expert talks – on current issues or as regular updates – aim to provide concentrated information and an exchange with stakeholders from politics and administration, research and science, business, media and society on current developments and challenges in the industry.
We invite representatives from all important groups and positions to half-day or full-day events; the programme formats include keynote speeches, deep dives, best practices, panels and workshops.
When it comes to the expert talks, the name says it all: they offer plenty of time to speak with one another!
