The ZIV at Eurobike 2025: focus on digitalisation
The latest innovations, expert presentations and plenty of networking opportunities: From 25 to 29 June, the Eurobike international bicycle trade fair will once again take place in Frankfurt am Main. The ZIV will of course be there, this year with a focus on the digitalisation of our industry. The ZIV team looks forward to welcoming countless visitors to the ZIV’s usual spot, Stand J07 in Hall 8.0.
The Eurobike brings together representatives from the international bicycle industry and bicycle enthusiasts from all over the world under one roof every year like no other event. As the strong voice of the bicycle industry, the ZIV will attend with a variety of offers. Our European partners, the Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry (CONEBI) and Cycling Industries Europe (CIE), which are the European umbrella organisations of the bicycle industry, will also be represented at the ZIV stand. We are delighted that the DiBike Digitize Bike Business Group will also join us this year as a co-exhibitor.
This year, the focus of the ZIV stand will be on the rapidly advancing digitalisation of our industry. As an industry of the future, we want to bring together topics such as networking and road safety (bicycle-to-X communication), cybersecurity, the digitalisation of production (including digital supply chains), documentation matters (including sustainability verification obligations) and the use of real-time market data in merchandise management and sales and to further the discussions on these. Come chat with us and become part of our digitalisation network («Netzwerk Digitalisierung»), which all stakeholders in the bicycle ecosystem are able to join.
The ZIV is currently finalising a number of ambitious digital projects that it will implement alone or in collaboration with partners. These include the ZIV Market Data Service (MDS), which will in future provide point-of-sale data in real-time in addition to production data. The ZIV founded the DiBike Digitize Bike Business Group together with the VSF. DiBike has assumed responsibility for further development of the Veloconnect industry standard and is also developing a data ecosystem across all levels together with and for the industry. Detailed information and extensive discussions are planned in Frankfurt on these projects and many other topics relating to the digitalisation of our industry.
There’ll be plenty of opportunities to meet the members of the ZIV team – not only at our stand, but also when they’re out and about at the trade fair: discussing cycling policy and business with political representatives during one of the numerous tours. Or serving as experts during presentations and panels discussions in the accompanying event programme.
We look forward to seeing you in Frankfurt again and to a fruitful trade fair!
